Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6 Content: Angels of Delusion Debut!

Few days ago, Zenless Zone Zero held the "Angels of Delusion" Debut Announcement, which also served as the Version 2.6 Special Program. It included new characters, new events, various rewards, and system optimizations. We have compiled the key points from this preview. Check it out now!

Version 2.6 Banner Information Overview

First-Half Banners (Feb 6 - Mar 4)

The first-half banners feature the rate-up for the S-Rank Physical Support Agent, Sunna, along with her signature W-Engine, "Thoughtbop". Simultaneously, Yixuan and his signature W-Engine will receive a rerun. This banner phase lasts from February 6th to March 4th, for a total duration of three and a half weeks.

Second-Half Banners (Mar 4 - Mar 23)

The second-half banners feature the rate-up for the S-Rank Ether Anomaly Agent, Aria, along with her signature W-Engine, "Angel In The Shell". Simultaneously, Ukinami Yuzuha and her signature W-Engine will receive a rerun. This banner phase lasts from March 4th to March 23rd, for a total duration of three weeks minus two days.

Future New Agents or NPCs

The silhouettes of two brand-new Agents briefly appeared in the Version 2.6 PV. The male character on the left might be Seth's brother, while the one on the right is likely an unreleased character from the Krampus Compliance Authority faction.

New AI 「Yokai」

Following "Fairy," we are finally getting a second artificial intelligence. Currently, it seems 「Yokai」 and Phaethon are on opposing sides. Will the two mightiest AIs, "Fairy" and 「Yokai」, face off against each other?

Green-Haired Intelligent Construct

Here, Aria is confronting this figure angrily. The construct might have done something unacceptable to Aria. The details will require waiting for the Version 2.6 main storyline.

"Teacher" of the Angels of Delusion 「Cecilia」

The mastermind behind 404 ERROR, speculated to be Cecilia. She appears quite beautiful from her looks, though she's just an NPC. However, Cecilia's model is very detailed, suggesting she may have a significant role in the story. Let's hope she isn't a villain!

New Bangboo

Biggest Fan (S-Rank)

The exclusive Bangboo for the [Angels of Delusion] faction. It is the second S-Rank Bangboo specializing in stat support, following Snap. Unlocking its additional ability grants Attack bonuses for the entire team. Currently, after a Bangboo reaches 3-stars, it only requires 1 character from the same faction to activate its effect. Therefore, it is highly recommended to pull for a 3-star or higher Biggest Fan to pair with Sunna.

Character Enhancements

Asaba Harumasa, Lycaon

In Version 2.6, Zenless Zone Zerowill enhance the characters Asaba Harumasa and Lycaon. After the enhancement, Harumasa is expected to gain new opportunities, while Lycaon, already strong as a standard S-Rank character, is anticipated to have even higher long-term value after the buff.

2.6 Version Rewards:

1. All Players Get 3300 Polychrome

An activity that starts directly after the livestream. Complete specified missions to earn event points. Reaching certain point thresholds rewards corresponding Polychrome and Inter-Knot Membership Surprise Supply. The Inter-Knot Membership Surprise Supply will be available for claim after the Version 2.6 update. A total of 3300 Polychrome can be obtained.

2. Share 4 Billion Polychrome!

Log in daily to draw Bangboo badges and participate in sharing 4 billion Polychrome!

3. Pan Yinhu Outfit 「Culinary Jewel」

Pan Yinhu's outfit 「Culinary Jewel」 will be given for free. It can be obtained by completing the event "Delusion Plays at This Moment".

4. Spring Festival Limited Item 「Auspicious Golden Carrot」

Log in at 19:00 on February 16th to claim the Spring Festival limited item 「Auspicious Golden Carrot」. Besides its commemorative meaning, it's most likely a battery-type item.

5. Extra Delusion-Themed Decorations for Pulling 「Angels of Delusion」

When you pull for 「Angels of Delusion」 characters, you can additionally receive idol-themed gifts: the 「Sweet Daydream」 pendant, 「Sweet Daydream」 theme, and 「Delusion in Progress」 animated wallpaper. All are cosmetic decorations.

6. Delusion Special

A tradition for every version. Participate in the 7-day check-in event to accumulate up to 10 Encrypted Master Tapes.

7. 「En-Nah」 Cheersquad Gift

The Boopon event will also start as scheduled. Participate in the 7-day check-in event to accumulate up to 10 Boopons.

2.6 Version New Events

1. A Harmony of Delusions

Act as the manager for the Angels of Delusion, accompanying them through their training. The event includes a variety of gameplay modes, such as rhythm game duels and Marcel's Adventure. Completing the event rewards Polychrome, Marcel's Outfit, and more, including the new outfit for Pan Yinhu.

2. Hollow Zero: Operation Matrix

A new mode added to Hollow Zero. Different themed stages refresh weekly, allowing for rotating challenges with various interesting mechanics. Players can use three main Agents, one main Bangboo, and one support Agent who provides an additional Assist skill. Notably, Hollow Zero will introduce a sweep function in Version 2.6. Using Sweep Cards allows for one-click clearing, further reducing the grind!

3. Stacking Fortune

Visit different friends' places to join the celebrations for the arrival of the Golden Festival, receive red envelopes from friends, and obtain rewards like Polychrome. It's a very simple daily event with a strong festive atmosphere.

4. Gravitational Storytime

The familiar movie-watching event returns. This time features characters like Jane Doe, Yixuan, Billy Kid, Seed, and the story of Yum Cha Sin and Sweety. Completing all content yields rewards like Polychrome.

5. Snap! Hollow Realm Showdown

Snap makes a comeback! The familiar photo-taking event returns, now with many new fun features like stickers. Zenless Zone Zerophotography mode, activate! Completing all content grants rewards such as Polychrome.

6. Angels of Delusion Training in Progress

As an assistant coach, Proxies need to arrange training schedules for the Angels of Delusion. The final challenge involves playing Tetris. Completing all content rewards Polychrome, event-exclusive namecards, and more.

7. Threshold Simulation: Myriad Endgame

The high-difficulty Threshold Simulation mode is updated. Challenge yourself for higher scores to earn exclusive in-game ranking titles. Completing stages within specific cycles also grants Polychrome rewards.

8. High Score Card Collector

A special card-flipping event. Participate in VR battles, flip cards to obtain various rewards, including Polychrome. During the event, there's a double drop rate for materials and Drive Discs. Even old events have new twists.

System Optimizations

Version 2.6 continues to implement optimizations across multiple areas. The Hollow Zero sweep function, new photo frames, faster result animations, character cultivation displays, and pre-set commonly farmed Drive Discs all represent the hard work of the Zenless Zone Zero development team. Playing Zenless Zone Zero is going to get even more enjoyable!
