Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2 Preview PV Analysis
After watching the 3.2 version preview, I can't help but sigh: "Is this still an official preview?" As expected of Zenless Zone Zero, they actually turned the collab vest into an in-game outfit, and later it can be obtained for free through the version event. I'm really looking forward to it. Next, let's talk about the content of the preview PV!

The ZZZ 3.2 version preview showed quite a few new characters. The first one is Phoenix, who already appeared in the Season 3 teaser PV. Phoenix's actual in-game model is much more refined than her previous 2D design. Under the lighting of that sea of fire earlier, we couldn't tell she was blonde. As for the question everyone was wondering about last version: how exactly was our old classmate cured? Based on the content, it's very likely related to Phoenix.

Phoenix's design elements center on the "Ankh" symbol, which is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyph symbolizing life. She also has medical elements like pills and band-aids on her design, so Phoenix's ability is likely related to healing. Combined with the earlier fire scene and the beam wings shooting from her back, I guess Phoenix's design prototype might come from the fire giant bird of Arabian mythology — Ankh.
The fire giant bird Ankh shares its name with the Egyptian symbol of life. Legend says it can burn itself up in fire and be reborn from the ashes. This rebirth-from-fire trait connects fire and healing together.

Then Phoenix's identity should be from the Krampus Compliance Authority. She and Zhao are acquaintances. Earlier on the Inter-Knot, a passerby happened to meet Phoenix, and she even drew a portrait of Zhao with calligraphy to express her dissatisfaction.
The passerby wanted to take Phoenix to the hospital, but Zhao stopped him and asked him to keep it secret. It's unknown what exactly their relationship is within the Krampus Compliance Authority.
In short, if Phoenix really is a character with healing abilities within Krampus Compliance Authority, then it makes perfect sense for her to provide treatment to the old classmate, the young lady of the Highwit Group.
Then the two characters from Flint Workshop appear. In version 3.2, the story will introduce their tale and revolve around Flint Lumite Ore in the main plot. I have to say, this part of the PV is amazing — Clare is literally "riding" on Roxy and even shoves her thumb into his mouth, and that's way too close! The expressions of the people around them are also great, and I'm a bit curious what Wise will be like here.
I can't wait anymore. I want to eat "Matcha Cake" right now!

Also, Lindverne is wearing a red-black outfit — long boots, fishnet stockings, a short skirt, and an off-shoulder top. It's a bit gothic-style, which looks pretty nice. Seems like all three Sunbringers — big, medium, and small — will become playable. Otherwise, there would be no reason to give Lindverne a costume alone.

Then the main storyline of the next version comes next — it should be Lindverne's fusion with the Enchainer larva. In the shot, we can see Lindverne's feet and a cowlick, and the thing in front is probably the core of the Enchainer larva. They are fusing and transforming into an Enchainer. But this time, unlike the little Sunbringer being devoured by Girtablullu, it might be Lindverne who gains the upper hand after the fusion.
In the following shot, Phaethon's eyes light up and resonate with Lindverne's eyes. This could match the setting where Phaethon can resonate with Karma Cores. Seeing the weakened Lindverne, I guess this might be right after the fusion. This mastermind who looks like Serpico — we can't confirm his identity yet, but he probably isn't Serpico. My guess is either the Ether liquid inside him has taken over her body, or (he) is possessed by a Youkai AI.

To deal with the situation where the Sunbringers might gain the upper hand after fusion, they also prepared candidates to replace the Sunbringers. This Ethereal should be the next version's boss. Phaethon here is even more exaggerated — without summoning Pyrois, he blocked the boss's attack with his physical body, protecting the fallen Lindverne behind him. The greatsword in our hands is Lindverne's weapon.

In the last shot of the PV, the two swap positions, and Lindverne stands in front of Phaethon again. Looking at the light in her eyes and the resonance with Phaethon's crystals, it's clear that Lindverne's Karma Core is at work. The climax of this scene might be Lindverne unleashing her fused Enchainer power, successfully destroying the boss before her.

In this story, besides Phaethon and Sunbringer, some old friends will also join the battle. Pyrois and Starlight-Billy are teaming up to fight, and even some members of the Cunning Hares have come to here to assist. Nicole is carrying the injured Anby on her back, and Nekomana is standing nearby.

In the final squad confronting the blonde-haired guy, we can also see Promeia. The addition of this Judge from the Krampus Compliance Authority makes the story even harder to predict. Also, what kind of storyline will Remielle have in the next version? It wasn't mentioned at all in this PV — Really looking forward to it!

Finally really looking forward to the exciting content of version 3.2. Let's wait for version 3.2 to arrive together. Don't forget to keep following our articles. See you next time!
