Remielle Detail Pt. 1

Remielle's name comes from Ramiel, recorded in the Book of Enoch, meaning the king of souls awaiting the day of resurrection. She is one of the fallen angels who guided the enlightened, and also one of the seven archangels who stand before God. She bears the duty of conveying the instructions of the seven archangels: guiding souls to ascend to heaven.

On the other hand, Remielle's alias Ramiel comes from one of the twenty Watcher angels also recorded in the Book of Enoch, often confused with the aforementioned Ramiel. In Hebrew, it means "God's thunderous wrath," and this setting may share the same origin as the Thunder Angel from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Part of Remielle's design comes from the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The Covenant of Dayat that Remielle belongs to derives from the Sephirah meaning "Knowledge" in the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. It is the point where the ten Sephiroth intersect and reach perfect balance, usually not considered a Sephirah itself. All Sephiroth exist in this infinite shared perfection but neither share nor reveal light; only those at Malkuth can perceive this change. Those selfless individuals like divine light will see the hidden light of Knowledge.

The Void Hunter weapon Thaumiel comes from Hebrew, meaning "dual god" or "opposing god." It is also the "counterpart" in the Kabbalistic Tree of Life — the apex of the Tree of Life, corresponding to Kether as its shadow side, symbolizing division, eternal conflict, duality, and impurity. It is the first Sephirah of the Qliphoth, representing a realm opposed to God or dual divinity — a perfect example of ZZZ's consistent fusion of classical mythology and technological aesthetics.

Remielle Detail Pt. 3

The most eye-catching element on Remielle is the four-pointed star. There are many accessories on her, but it's easy to overlook that her high heels, soles, and dagger are inscribed with the Latin cursive "Stella Spira." The four-pointed star symbolizes guidance in all directions as a road sign on a journey. In Christian tradition, the Star of Bethlehem also represents revelation, guiding new life, and the duty of angels — a perfect match.

Remielle has one side white and one side black. The pure white wing form evokes the layered, long, and graceful luminous wings of archangels in religious paintings — a classical, holy angelic feel. The pure black form is the classic fallen angel black wing symbol. In Western legends, fallen angels who were banished often wear masks to conceal their faces, representing hidden identity and bearing sins.

Finally, Remielle's banner is named Paradise Regained, after the long religious epic written by English poet John Milton in 1671. Paradise Regained is the sequel to Paradise Lost, one of three great poems composed by Milton through dictation after he lost his sight, based on the New Testament story of Jesus being tempted. The poem tells of Jesus' birth and his resistance against Satan's temptations, thus saving humanity and returning to the Garden of Eden.

From research, Remielle is a complex existence with duality — both fallen angel and archangel. With a noble heart, she draws people toward paradise for her lofty ideals.
