ZZZ Covenant of Dayat — From Symbols to Action Logic: The Truth of the Void Hunters
"Covenant of Dayat" — a mysterious society that calls itself, "Only by crossing the boundary of knowledge can one touch the true illusion." Their origins are unknown, their identities unknown, their members unknown. So, what exactly is this society all about? Actually, the clues are right in front of us. Let's decode them together!
First, let's look at the faction icon — vertical lines, triangles, and rings. Three geometric forms interlock to create a firm structure. Among the three symbols on the icon, two of them we have seen before: the first symbol was drawn by early humans who worshipped Sunbringer; the third symbol was once used to seal "Thaumiel," and the one who unsealed it was Phaethon.

As for the last symbol… In an earlier conversation with Remielle, she mentioned "the robot sister," which proves that these beings are not human intelligence. Don't forget — Sunbringer is likely a "Hollow entity" disguised as an intelligent construct. So could that "robot sister," the Storyteller, also be disguised like Sunbringer?

If the immigrants who worshipped Sunbringer represent humanity; the wedge-shaped symbol represents beings from within the Hollow; and the last symbol represents digital consciousness — three symbols, three forms of life, three shapes nested together, forming the world as it is today, and also forming the icon of the Covenant of Dayat. This means one of them is a digital consciousness and the other is a Hollow entity, which is why they both react slowly to human emotions and bonds.

The pattern displayed on the machine head looks very much like a bishop in chess, and a king pattern also appeared in the preview. Every time it shows up, it is reminding, urging, warning, and confirming. Rather than saying it lacks tact, it's more like they are ensuring that Remielle — this chess piece — lands on the predetermined path.
"Remielle, stop wasting time."
"Remielle, I don't want to remind you again. Time is tight."

Meaning, Remielle is just a pawn in their scheme? Exactly. They first traded a storm she encountered for her cooperation and joining.
"The storm you encountered — I know its existence better than you do."
"And I know even better… when it will arrive."
Finding an old friend doesn't require the power of a Void Hunter weapon. But if it's about protecting the final gift he left for this world — that's the reason Remielle decided to activate "Thaumiel," even if it would accelerate her fall into becoming an Enchainer.

And the people of the Covenant of Dayat couldn't possibly be unaware of the price Remielle would pay after retrieving her weapon — yet they showed no concern about it. Unless Phaethon is also on the board they've laid out.
"You actually knew all along that strange resonance would develop between me and Phaethon, didn't you?"

"Remielle, those three Sunbringers — do you really think they're all 'Void Hunter' weapons?"
"Of course not."
"Then why did you just tell him that 'false' truth?"
"Just like usual... I told a lie."

Because hiding things and lying might cause Phaethon — this chess piece — to stray off course. They are orchestrating and correcting moves behind the scenes, yet show no interest in seizing Void Hunter weapons or controlling the Rosetta Data. Instead, they focus more on pushing the wielders of Void Hunter weapons to confront the crisis. This runs completely counter to TOPS' interests, but aligns more with another force — Mayor Mayflower.

The goals of the Covenant of Dayat are consistent with the Mayor's interests, so it's not surprising that they formed a partnership. This also explains why, despite Remielle being a Void Hunter who could become an Enchainer at any moment, the city government only sent Cissia — not even a formal agent — to investigate her, and later even exempted her from reporting. Unless there were already people from the Mayor by Remielle's side keeping tabs on her. And after Phaethon lost control and was subdued, the first person to guide Wise and Belle to Roscaelifer for treatment was Remielle, who had already established cooperation with the Covenant of Dayat.

Meanwhile, Velina and Norma received the news within 5 hours, 14 minutes, and 33 seconds, and quickly completed the procedures for island admission and treatment. So with the External Strategy Department working in the open and the Covenant of Dayat working in the shadows to push the weapon users to stop the crisis, while having Phaethon mediate among various factions and also serve as insurance to prevent Remielle from falling into becoming an Enchainer — this setup does feel familiar.
This makes it impossible for the Storyteller to be Truvia, since their goals conflict. Although we still have no way of knowing their truth for now, I can offer a direction for thought: what triggered Carole to cause the Fall of the Old Capital back then was a mysterious pair of "golden Wise and Belle." If there exists a golden pair of "Phaethon," then during the same period, could there also be another pair of Icarus?
