ZZZ 3.1 Special Program Livestream Announced — Anniversary Update, New Void Hunter Remielle Debuts

Zenless Zone Zero is currently in the second half of version 3.0, and on July 13 it announced the preview livestream for version 3.1.

3.1 Preview Livestream Teaser

Dear Proxies, The Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 "The Long Goodbye" Special Program will officially air on July 17 at 19:30 (UTC+8).

The storm over the Celestial Nexus is far from over and the story is about to turn a new page: the truth behind the Enchaine, the past of the first-generation Void Hunter Remielle, and a reunion with the most familiar stranger...

Anniversary Version Rewards

In the 3.0 preview livestream, producer Zhenyu revealed that ZZZ's 2nd anniversary celebration will officially start with version 3.1.

And the 3.1 preview teaser mentioned that there will be a mysterious guest bringing unexpected surprises, which probably means Zhenyu will introduce the game rewards for the 3.1 anniversary version.

Version 3.1 New Characters

The new characters for version 3.1 are also confirmed: new Void Hunter Anomaly Remielle, and new Ice Attack Sigrid.

These two are also the characters from the preview teaser image, especially Remielle, who takes up most of the frame — she must be the key character in version 3.1's story.

Zenless Zone Zero Merchandise Predictions

Based on past Zenless Zone Zero preview patterns, this time multiple new merchandise items may launch. It is expected that the official reveal will include the ZZZ × KFC collaboration meal content and related merchandise, and the External Strategy Department merchandise series may also be announced at the same time. Version 3.1 Story Speculation

There are three key points in the version 3.1 story.

The truth about Enchainer

At the end of the version 3.0 story, the Proxy asked Remielle whether the scorpion-shaped Ethereal Girtablullu, which had very weak Ether aura, was really just an Ethereal. Remielle then said, "How do you define an Ethereal?" and asked the Proxy if they knew about Enchainer.

So Enchainer might be beings similar to Ethereals, possessing Ether power, but more advanced than ordinary Ethereals, without revealing any Ether aura.

Remielle's Past

We already know that Remielle is a first-generation Void Hunter, and together with Colonel Vike and the Leader of the Falkenhayn Mercenary Troupe, pushed back the Black Wall by 37 kilometers.

But we don't know what exactly happened in that battle, and version 3.1 might reveal it.

Reunion with the most Familiar Stranger

This might refer to the reunion between Remielle and Sunbringer. Both are first-generation Void Hunters, so they must have been very familiar with each other before.

But now Sunbringer has split into three different Sunbringer, so to Remielle, the new Sunbringer is a stranger.
