Zenless Zone Zero Merch Preview: Food Bangboo Blind Box Figures

Recently, the merchandise brand Hey! Dolls released a mysterious silhouette, previewing a food-themed Bangboo blind box figure based on the Version 2.7 event "Chronicle of Simmering Flavors," scheduled for official release in July.

ZZZ "Chronicle of Simmering Flavors" Event Review

"Chronicle of Simmering Flavors" is one of the core activities in Version 2.7. In the story, the "Simmer Hot Pot Restaurant" faces a closure crisis due to the owner Ms. Blaze losing her sense of taste, issues with ingredient supply, and negative reviews from food critic Stephen. 

The Proxy, teaming up with the new Agent Nangong Yu, will travel across New Eridu—from securing a beef supply with Yum Cha Sin at Failume Heights, to retrieving hijacked seafood at Port Elpis, and finally improving the hotpot base recipe to win the showdown against Stephen and resume normal operations.

Food Bangboo Blind Box - Design Highlights

The inspiration for this blind box comes from the "Exquisite Tastes" gameplay in the event. In the game, adorable Bangboo shaped like various ingredients appear as scoring items. Now, these "delicious little helpers" are coming to Proxies' hands in the form of physical blind boxes.

This event features a total of 13 Bangboo Ornaments: Hot Dogboo, Cheese Boowich, Tasty Boo-Burger, Fried Dumplingboo, Baoboo, Braised Beef Boodles, Boosicle, Strawberry Sweetboo, Stuffed Boo, Milkboo, Sodaboo, Rice Cakeboo, Cornboo. The design of each Bangboo is incredibly cute, not only meticulously recreating the form of the food but also retaining the Bangboo's signature adorable, silly expressions.
