ZZZ 2.0 Top-Tier Teams Review – How to Build Best Teams?
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0's second half is now live. With Ju Fufu's release, Yixuan's ultimate Team Buildup is fully assembled, while multiple other top-tier Team compositions have been perfected. Today, I'll showcase all elite teams of Version 2.0 - covering every limited S-Rank Agent lineup - for Proxies to safely reference.
1. ZZZ Yixuan Team Composition: Rupture Team
Team Setup: Yixuan + Pan Yinhu/Qingyi + Ju Fufu/Astra Yao/Trigger

Yixuan's team composition reached its zenith with yesterday's Ju Fufu banner, perfecting the Yunkui Summit lineup as the current optimal solution for conventional playstyles-offering both strength and cost-effectiveness. Without Ju Fufu or unwilling to invest in Pan Yinhu? Astra Yao or Trigger can substitute either slot with solid results.
Interestingly, Yixuan gains abundant Assist opportunities against Miasma Priests to replenish Decibels. Combined with the environment buff favoring Stun mechanics, Qingyi delivers top-tier performance-potentially optimal with precise execution. Pair her with Ju Fufu for double Stun, or Pan Yinhu for highly effective gameplay.
2. ZZZ Ellen Team Composition: Stun Team
Team Setup: Ellen + Lighter/Trigger/Ju Fufu + Astra Yao/Caesar/Soukaku

Ju Fufu's buffs fit Ellen moderately, but her pure off-field Stun mechanics work well, making her a viable Stun slot option. If none of these Stun agents are available, standard S-rank Lycaon delivers exceptional performance. The new Ellen no longer requires double Ice teams, freeing up support choices like Astra Yao or Caesar.
3. ZZZ Hugo Team Composition: Double Stun Team
Team Setup: Hugo + Lighter/Lycaon/Qingyi + Ju Fufu/Trigger

As a burst DPS requiring double Stun supports, Hugo pairs with any two Stun agents listed above. The current best combo is Lighter + Ju Fufu, though others perform decently across scenarios.
4. ZZZ Soldier 0 - Anby Team Composition: Aftershock Team
Team Setup: Soldier 0 - Anby + Trigger/Nicole/Pulchra + Astra Yao/Caesar/Lucy

The Aftershock team has nearly zero environmental advantages in Version 2.0, performing poorly in both Shiyu Defense and Deadly Assault scenarios. Even its core Stun agent Trigger is often taken by Yixuan or Ellen teams, making it a struggling archetype. This setup requires heavy investment ("money team") - high Mindscape tiers bring comfort, while low tiers yield mediocre results. Anby's revival likely depends on future Stun-focused agents.
5. Evelyn Team Composition: Stun Team
Team Setup: Evelyn + Lighter/Nicole/Trigger + Astra Yao/Caesar/Lucy

Evelyn's flexible hybrid playstyle (on-field & burst) pairs equally well with quickswap Stun agents like Lighter or pure off-field options like Ju Fufu/Trigger. Without Stun agents, dual-supports (e.g., Astra Yao + Nicole) for pure on-field play also work. Choose based on battle environments and builds.
6. Asaba Harumasa & Zhu Yuan Team Composition: Burst Team
Team Setup: Zhu Yuan/Asaba Harumasa + Qingyi + Astra Yao/Nicole/Trigger

Current burst setups for Harumasa and Zhu Yuan remain unchanged: pair with on-field Qingyi plus a non-field-consuming support. Astra Yao is optimal; Nicole offers better value; Trigger boosts Stun efficiency via double Stun mechanics if needed.
7. Hoshimi Miyabi Team Composition: Disorder Team & Solo Carry Team
Team Setup 1 (Disorder): Miyabi + Tsukishiro Yanagi/Vivian/Burnice + Astra Yao/Caesar/Lucy

Miyabi is currently the most flexible main DPS. For traditional Disorder builds:
- Pair Yanagi as energy "battery";
- Or classic sub-DPS like Vivian/Burnice.
Select agents based on enemy weakness environments.
Team Setup 2 (Solo Carry): Miyabi + Nicole/Lycaon/Lighter + Astra Yao/Soukaku/Lucy

Miyabi also supports budget-friendly plays:
- Dual-support (Astra Yao + Nicole) for pure solo carry;
- Stun focus (Lycaon/Soukaku) for burst during Daze.
These low-investment builds retain competitive strength but demand precise execution compared to Disorder teams.
8. ZZZ Jane & Yanagi Team Composition: Jane+Vivian & Yanagi+Vivian Disorder Team
Team Setup: Jane Doe/Tsukishiro Yanagi + Vivian/Burnice + Astra Yao/Caesar/Lucy

Vivian's debut in Version 1.7 significantly enhanced Disorder teams. Beyond offensive buffs, she notably expanded the team's advantage in Ether-weak environments. Mechanically, Yanagi's Polarity Disorder and Jane's Assault CRIT synergize well with Vivian, enabling both DPS units to fully commit to dual-core playstyles without resorting to high-investment solo carry builds.
Overall, pairing either Jane or Yanagi with Vivian yields strong performance thanks to elemental coverage flexibility. Further improvements will come with Ukinami Yuzuha in Version 2.1.
This concludes the top team comps summary for Version 2.0. The update introduced Yixuan, the premier Rupture DPS, and the exceptionally versatile Stun agent Ju Fufu, while enhancing veteran character Ellen-all delivering strong performances. With proper team setups, pulling any of these characters ensures effortless Shiyu Defense clears, eliminating meta anxiety. Stay tuned for more guides and new merchandise!
