Zenless Zone Zero "Names" pt. 2: Fun Origin of Enemies' Names
In our last article we explored the interesting names of the agents in Zenless Zone Zero, and today we're going to talk about the backstories of the names of the enemies we encounter in the game. I'm sure you'll realize that ZZZ has quite a rich cultural background after reading this article, so let's take a look!
1. Zenless Zone Zero Enemy-"Dullahan"

"Dullahan is the headless horseman of Irish folklore. According to legend, Dullahan was a brave knight who was killed in battle and had his head cut off by his enemies. Therefore, every dark and windy night, he would ride an undead warhorse out of Sleepy Hollow to look for his missing head.
2. Zenless Zone Zero Enemy-Odette& Odile-"Twin Marionettes"

Odette and Odile are the real names of the Nymph sisters who danced in the Ballet Twins in the game, from the ballet "Swan Lake". Odette is the White Swan and Odile is the Black Swan.

"Swan Lake" is a ballet composed by Tchaikovsky in 1876, based on folklore. Princess Odette is transformed into a white swan by an evil sorcerer on the shores of Swan Lake, and can only return to her human form at night. The prince meets Odette and falls in love with her. 4. Zenless Zone Zero Enemy-"Thanatos"

Thanatos is the god of death in Greek mythology, symbolizing irreversible death, and he is usually depicted as a handsome young male. He possessed wings and wielded a sharp scythe to harvest life.
In Greek mythology, the role of Thanatos was peaceful and unlike the later horrific images of Death. His job was to ensure justice and order in death to ensure a smooth transition of souls to the underworld.
5. Zenless Zone Zero Enemy-"Tyrfing"

Tyrfing is a magic sword from Norse mythology. According to legend, the sword was forged by the dwarf, Alviss and his brothers in the kingdom of the dwarves. 7. Zenless Zone Zero Enemy-"Farbuti"

"Farbauti was a giant in Norse mythology who fathered Loki with his wife Laufey, the Norse god of lies and trickery.
8. Zenless Zone Zero Enemy-"Faun"

Faun, in Roman mythology, was the god of animal husbandry, half man, half goat, who lived in the woods. The Romans linked it to the Greek myth of Satyr, the embodiment of nature and a follower and companion of Dionysus, the god of wine.

9. Zenless Zone Zero Enemy-"Nineveh"

Nineveh was the capital of the ancient Assyrian Empire, one of the largest cities in the world, and the center of power of the Assyrian kingdom, known as the "Bloody Lion's Den", was ruled by brutal and tyrannical rulers.
They used violence to suppress disobedient people in order to maintain their power. In war, their armies demonstrated Assyrian power and ruthlessness by abusing and torturing their captives.
