Zenless Zone Zero Ye Shunguang: Stories and Foreshadowings behind Agen

As time passes, Zenless Zone Zero is about to usher in the most anticipated main storyline related to Ye Shunguang! In recent days, the highly anticipated character "Ye Shunguang" has finally had her archive released, appearing to be a dual-form Agent. Today, let's take a look based on the disclosed Agent Archive content at the foreshadowings hidden behind Ye Shunguang.

Although "Ye Shunguang" previously had limited screen time and maintained a rather mysterious aura, the groundwork laid for her is substantial. "Ye Shunguang" first appeared at the end of the Season 2 teaser trailer, shown as a reflection, making a finale-style entrance. Then, in the Version 2.0 daily life storyline, various members of the Yunkui Summit mentioned her, with Ju Fufu referring to her as ["Junior Sister"]. Senior Brother Ye Shiyuan also mentioned that Ye Shunguang is his younger sister, and that the siblings entered the Yunkui Summit together. Ye Shiyuan added that, unlike average him, Ye Shunguang has been exceptionally talented since childhood.

Since Belle and Wise joined the school later, Ye Shunguang becomes the players' senior sister. She finally appeared and met us at the end of the Version 2.3 storyline, saving the falling Slya, and became very excited when she heard us call her "Senior Sister". From prior introductions regarding Yixuan, the Qingming Sword is a secret treasure of the Yunkui Summit sect. It allows its wielder to attain Void Hunter-level combat power for a short period. Among its users, exceptional individuals can even momentarily surpass that limit. However, wielding the Qingming Sword comes at a cost: it gradually deprives the user of their five senses and can ultimately lead to the dissipation of their life force. Yixuan's elder sister, Yijiang, was "consumed" by the sword in this manner .

In the storyline, there have been multiple hints that Ye Shunguang is talented and suspected to be capable of wielding the Qingming Sword, hence being chosen as its next master. However, it is worth noting that the Qingming Sword appearing in Ye Shunguang's PV seems different from the one shown in previous PVs. In the previous storyline, Senior Brother Ye Shiyuan, who initially seemed loyal and upright, is suspected of having "betrayed" the cause. After participating with the Yunkui Summit members in the final battle against the Miasma Priest of The Exaltists, he went to pursue Sarah, broke away from the group, and entered a spatial rift. He did not return even after the battle concluded.
