ZZZ June Events: Version 3.0 Launches, Velina & Norma Released

Zenless Zone Zero is about to enter June! A series of events will then begin and refresh. Today, we'll take a look at the important happenings arriving in June, all related to benefits like Filin resources. Be sure not to miss out!

June 1st

Shop Refreshes

On the 1st of each month, all shops in Zenless Zone Zero will refresh. The most worthwhile items to exchange are the Encrypted Master Tape x5 and Master Tape x5 in the Fading Signal shop. Also, don't forget to exchange the Boopon x5 next door.

The Logistics Shop and Outpost Shop will also update. Among them, the Outpost Logistics offers exchangeable Master Tapes, and the exchange limits for various upgrade materials will also reset. Most materials can be easily maxed out. There are also Boopons, materials from weekly boss fights, etc., which can be exchanged as needed.

Version 3.0 Special Program Officially Announced

The long-awaited Version 3.0 will officially begin its rollout on June 1st. The official announcement of the new version's Special Program will reignite Proxies' excitement for Season 3. At that time, the version name and event guests may also hint at parts of Version 3.0's schedule.

Event: A Look Into Ridu's Legends

Uncover the truth behind paranormal events for the citizens visiting the stall, capture the details in their words, and then reveal it with a single statement. Complete all content to obtain rewards such as Polychromes.

June 5th

Version 3.0 Special Program Begins

The Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0 Special Program will provide detailed explanations of the mechanics for the two new Agents, Velina and Norma. Among them, as the first Wind attribute Agent, her Anomaly role may inject new gameplay and vitality into the anomaly system. The question is how many of the older anomaly DPS characters from before Version 3.0 will benefit from Velina's support.

Norma, on the other hand, is a Fire attribute Stun character, sharing both attribute and role with Ju Fufu and Koleda. Currently, on-field Stun characters aren't fitting the meta well, so Norma might be a higher-value, quick-swap style Stun character. It remains to be seen if she can bring new, powerful support to Stun teams. The Special Program will also release an exchange code for 300 Polychromes with a short validity period. Additionally, although Version 3.0 isn't the anniversary version, there will likely be some benefits. We will also summarize and recap the Special Program content and exchange code information for everyone, so be sure not to miss it!

June 5th / June 19th

Deadly Assault Update

Deadly Assault will receive its third Phase update for Version 2.8 on June 5th, while June 19th marks the first Phase of Deadly Assault for Version 3.0. Achieving 6 stars yields 300 Polychromes, and Proxies with higher investment or skill can aim for 9 stars or even a perfect score!

June 6th

Event: Good Morning, Roscaelifer

June 10th

Event: Data Bounty: Combat Simulation

A regular double material event that can speed up character development progress. Players currently building characters can max them out faster, while others can prepare materials in advance for future characters.

June 12th / June 26th

Shiyu Defense Update

Shiyu Defense will receive its third Phase update for Version 2.8 on June 12th, while June 26th marks the first Phase of Shiyu Defense for Version 3.0. Completing all stages yields a reward of 720 Polychromes.

June 17th

Velina Rate-UP Banner Begins

Velina will debut in the first half of the Version 3.0 character banner. The anomaly system will finally welcome its first Wind attribute character. The addition of this new attribute is expected to bring more playability to the meta. Specific mechanics can be awaited from the Special Program announcement.

Event: "En-Nah" Into Your Lap

The Boopon event will also commence as scheduled. Participate in the seven-day check-in event to obtain up to 10 Boopons cumulatively.

June 20th / June 21st

Version 3.1 Character Teaser

As the anniversary version of Zenless Zone Zero, Version 3.1 is bound to introduce a strength benchmark that leads the meta for several subsequent versions—a Void Hunter-tier meta character. This is precisely the purpose of every Proxy saving up Polychromes. The teaser for the Version 3.1 character is expected to be officially announced on June 20th and 21st.
