1. Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 New Scenes/Areas

The Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 update introduces the new area Waifei Peninsula, a coastal frontier region far from New Eridu's center, anchored by Failume Heights. This area features distinct Chinese cultural elements, drawing inspiration from Sichuan-Chongqing and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. As seen in the 2.0 preview PV, the mountain-tiered architecture mirrors Chongqing's "Mountain City" layout, while the aerial cable buses replicate Chongqing's Yangtze River Cableway. New characters include a panda-themed fighter, a cultural icon of Sichuan.

The area also incorporates Greater Bay Area motifs like neon-lit towers, dessert shops, and teahouses, making lore-consistent characters like Yao Jiayin-a Cantonese who loves spicy hotpot-feel natural.

Beyond modern structures, ancient-style architecture appears at Suibian Temple, where the protagonist siblings follow leads to meet Yixuan, the 13th-generation master of Yunkui Summit, becoming apprentices under her.

Urban stalls in Waifei Peninsula mirror New Eridu's gameplay: coffee shops, the siblings' video rental stall, and daily fortune-telling booths (replacing scratch cards) at Suibian Temple.

The peninsula's core industry is Porcelume mining and processing-a material resistant to Ether erosion, used in Jane and Evelyn's weapons, Qingyi's commissioned components, and traded at the Porcelume Market. Beyond Porcelume, players can mine gems/jade at pawnshops to obtain film rolls, upgrade materials, and outfits.

2. Details on New Agents in Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0

2.1 Yunkui Summit - Yixuan

Let's turn to Version 2.0's new S-Rank Auric Ink-attribute Rupture agent: Yixuan. Both the Auric Ink attribute and Rupture role are new mechanics. Yixuan wields an ink pot to summon "Ink Wash Transformation" attacks via spells. The Rupture role balances damage and survivability, dealing massive Penetration Damage that ignores enemy defense.

As the 13th-generation master of Yunkui Summit, Yixuan's power rivals the Void Hunters. Her new outfit, distinct from her sect's traditional style, will also be released.

2.2 Yunkui Summit - Ju Fufu

Next is S-Rank Fire-attribute Breaker agent Ju Fufu, a young Tiger Thiren girl who joined Yi Xuan's sect 11 years ago during the Old Capital's fall. Despite her youth, all Yunkui disciples address her as 'senior sister'.

2.3 Yunkui Summit - Pan Yinhu

From Season 1, we've met Yi Xuan and Ju Fufu. The third new agent is A-Rank Physical-attribute Guardian Pan Yinhu, a Panda Thiren and chef at Suibian Temple who manages disciples' meals while mastering martial arts.

3. Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 New Storyline

Next is Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0's new storyline: At the end of Season 1, Phaethon awakened the mysterious power within his body to control Ether. To continue cooperating with the Mayor and master this ability, we leave the central city for Waifei Peninsula, joining Yixuan's sect. While training, we confront a new crisis.

The crisis revolves around the Lemnian Hollow-a defining feature of Waifei Peninsula. The plot likely focuses on two key conflicts:

Porcelume: This Ether-resistant material originates from the Lemnian Hollow. The area was formerly called Aerospace City, evidenced by astronaut posters and rockets, indicating humanity's advanced space technology before the Old Capital's collapse. After the Hollow's emergence, Aerospace City was consumed, now serving as Porcelume's mining site.

The Exaltists: In Version 2.0, this faction infiltrates Waifei Peninsula. Their masks, ties, and weapon color schemes resemble Sacrifice aesthetics.

Porcelume sustains civilian life and military strategies, while Aerospace City's ruins hold humanity's space-tech legacy. However, TOPS monopolizes all Porcelume-related businesses, escalating tensions with the Mayor's faction.

The Exaltists trigger a city-wide crisis. After learning mystic arts, Phaethon and allies deploy talisman arrays across the city, with Yixuan at the core. Citizens in the Porcelume Market collapse from Ether corruption as Yixuan aids them. A boss from earlier trailers appears, hinting at imminent battles. Given the Exaltists' creed of 'coexisting with the Hollow,' could their goal be mass-corrupting citizens to 'evolve' them into Sacrifice hybrids?

The PV also hints at truths about the Old Capital's fall and intel on Yixuan's sister. Can her sister and barriers resolve this catastrophe?

4. Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 New Event Gameplay

4.1 Manage Suibian Temple Together

In Version 2.0, we'll join Senior Sister Ju Fufu to manage Suibian Temple, dispatch Bangboo on expeditions to gather materials, use these materials to develop products, and sell them for Cloud Crest Tokens. These tokens can upgrade the temple.

New shops like Tea Immortal and Treasure Trove also provide Cloud Crest Tokens and EXP materials. As the temple's popularity grows, its visuals will upgrade dynamically.

4.2 New Exploration Ability - Sense Perception Art

Master Yixuan teaches Phaethon the Sense Perception Art, which aids Hollow exploration by breaking obstacles and tracking Ether traces. Its visual effect resembles Genshin's Elemental Sight.

4.3 New Enemy Mechanics in the Hollow

The Lemnian Hollow's Aerospace City introduces the Miasama mechanic. Miasama corrupts humans, causing hallucinations, and grants Miasama-type enemies special attacks. Players hit by these attacks accumulate Miasama Corruption; at max stacks, they take bonus damage. Some elite enemies have Miasama Shields, which are best broken via dodge counters and ultimate skills.

Belobog Heavy Industries' construction team unearths a mech. Using Eous, we can pilot this mech into the Hollow. The mech upgrades as the event progresses-a fun addition with exclusive content for Eous!

4.6 New Zero Hollow Content

The Zero Hollow adds features like Combat Assist: switching agents mid-battle doesn't swap the active character but triggers an off-field ally's assist attack.

Other activities include high-difficulty combat challenges, the Failume Heights Sightseeing Guide (exploring Waifei Peninsula's culture), and the Golden Proxy Awards Annual Ceremony (reviewing Proxies' yearly deeds)-all offering great rewards.

5. Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 Optimization Updates

The fifth point is optimization. Zenless Zone Zero's improvements continue to evolve alongside players. This update brings substantial enhancements:

a) Legacy Agent Buffs: The launch-limited agent Ellen receives upgrades. The devs integrated her Zero Hollow-exclusive moves into her normal kit and added new skills. Her CRIT DMG-boosting passive now applies to Chain Attacks, Ultimates, and Basic Attacks.
