6 Things You Need to Know About Bangboo
In Zenless Zone Zero, the number of Bangboos is slowly increasing as the number of limited agents increases. But before that, do you know all the mechanics of Bongboo? How much of a role does Bongboo really play in a team? Let's take a look.
1. How useful is the Bangboo in ZZZ?
Let's take the example of Lucy, Jane and Seth forming a team and carrying Officer Cui. Some visualization is possible.
By calculation, when fighting continuously for two minutes. Officer Cui was able to deal roughly 280,000 damage, which equaled 4.74% of the team's total damage. From the perspective of anomaly accumulation, the anomaly value inflicted by Bangboos on the enemy accounts for 2.47% of the team's anomaly accumulation value. On the Daze side, the percentage of Daze value caused by Officer Cui can be up to 10.55% of the team's Daze value, but that's based on a team without a Stun agent. So in a team with a Stun agent Bangboo is likely to have an extremely low percentage of Daze value.
However, it's worth noting that some of Bangboos provide other effects in addition to dealing damage, anomaly accumulation and Daze value. For example, Butler provides energy restoration; Avocaboo provides life restoration effects; and Magnetiboo gathers enemies.
In summary, the conclusion for the first question is that the role of Bangboo is less than 5% of the total role of the whole team. Therefore, obtaining and raising Bangboos is not a high priority.
2. What is the difference between S-Rank and A-Rank Bangboos which have similar skills?
Let's use Ellen, Lycaon and Soukaku as a team as an example. Assuming that a 1-star S-rank Sharkboo can bring deal 100% of the damage, anomaly accumulation and Daze value. Then a 5-star A-rank Penguinboo can deal 82.63% damage, 123.69% anomaly accumulation and 159.32% Daze value.
We can find out from this that the effects of Sharkboo and Penguinboo have their own advantages and disadvantages, and it is hard to distinguish between them. So our conclusion is that if you find that there is not much difference between the actual combat effects of some of the A-rank Bangboos and S-rank Bangboos. We may not have to obtain S-rank Bangboo. Some of the 5-star A-rank Bangboo will also perform very well.
3. In Zenless Zone Zero, how do we choose the right Bangboo for the right effect?
Below is the list of Bangboo recommendations:
It's worth noting that these are not our recommended team configurations. Rather, they focus on how to pick the right Bangboo if you choose such a team.
Below we will explain in detail how to pick Bangboo. Simply put, we are trying to make Bangboo's a,b,c skills fit the team's needs as closely as possible. This includes the same attribute damage, which allows Bangboo to help the team accumulate anomalies. However, the fact that Bangboo doesn't have the Anomaly Mastery also leads to the fact that the damage dealt by Bangboo doesn't participate in the settlement of the anomaly damage.
4. Should we use Bangboo's chain attack?
The answer is to use the Bangboo chain attack as appropriate.
What is a Bangboo chain attack? You can trigger an additional Bangboo chain attack before triggering the third agent chain attack. Why do we need to decide whether or not to use Bangboo chain attack depending on the situation? Because if the team is highly developed, releasing a Bangboo chain attack may reduce the damage, Daze value and anomaly accumulation dealt by the team per second.
5. How do you cultivate Bangboos?
Bangboo development consists of three elements: upgrade, breakthrough and star level.
Upgrading a Bangboo requires "Bangboo System Widget", which can be obtained in Hollow Zero.
Breakthrough Bangboo requires "Concentrated Cooling Fluid", which can also be obtained from Hollow Zero. However, the amount is relatively small and usually needs to be exchanged at the 141 Store.
6. What kinds of agent effects does Bangboo suffer from?
This question doesn't have a lot of combat value in the current version, but we can guess that the theory might be used in the future.
First of all, a character like Nicole that deals debuffs to enemies will affect Bangboos. Secondly, any agent skill that has the description "all squad members" in it is a skill that will affect Bangboo. For example, Soukaku's Additional Ability.
Lastly, Lucy's Special Attack, for example, specifically state that they affect Bangboos.
On the other hand, the "other squad members" in Rina's skill description do not include Bangboo, so the buff effects of these skills cannot be applied to Bangboos.
Hoping this content will help proxies with your Bangboo development. Although currently Bangboo doesn't play a big role in the team, in many cases Bangboo's different mechanics will bring many surprises to us.
