Zenless Zone Zero Caesar King: Four myths you should know
With the Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 version, we meet the first S-rank limited agent in 1.2, Caesar King. Caesar is not only lovable in the story, but also has a perfect skill mechanics. However, many proxies will have some misunderstandings on formations of Caesar, let's take a look!
1. Only increase Caesar King's impact value?
Caesar is a defense agent, but her core attribute is the same as Von Lycaon and Qingyi which is impact. And there's no other way to get the impact except for W-Engine, drive disc partition 6, and set effect of the Shockstar Disco. So if Caesar already meets these three criteria, we just need to invest more resources in her CRIT rate, CRIT damage, and ATK.
2. Caesar must carry the "Original Transmorpher"?
In addition to Caesar's versatile W-Engine "Tusks of Fury" , the only W-Engine that provides impact effects is the A-Rank W-Engine "Original Transmorpher". So many people brought Caesar a "Original Transmorpher" when don't have using her exclusive W-Engine.
But in fact, because the impact boost provided by the A-Rank W-Engine is a trigger boost, it only gives Caesar a slight impact boost. Can't double the effects with her core skill.
So in the absence of the W-Engine "Tusks of Fury", we recommended that Caesar carry the S-Rank impact W-Engine. Even if the W-Engine effect can't be triggered, the impact provided by the advanced Stat is enough to give Caesar King a big boost.
3. Bind to a attack agent?
Many proxies feel that Caesar could be used as a stun agent, making it a good fit for a attack agent who dealt a lot of damage during stunned state. In fact, Caesar's core skill allows her to play with almost any melee agents. Especially when paired with Jane Doe, Jane's excellent dodging performance can maintain Caesar's shield effect almost the entire time.
It is worth mentioning that when Caesar is used in team with Ellen Joe. Caeser should have replaced Soukaku in the team instead of Lycaon. The reason for this is that Caesar and Soukaku are both attack support agents, and their role positioning is repetitive which will dilute the ATK. And Soukaku gives enemies BUFF in a much more cumbersome way than Caesar does.
4. Need to keep the shield when the enemy is strong?
Many proxies felt that Caesar would not work well in an environment with high level enemies. Therefore, many proxies may actively interrupt their agent's DPS time in high pressure environments to preserve shields and buffs. Note, however, that Caesar's buffs will actually last for 5 seconds after losing shields.
Some would argue that Caesar's shield was too low for standing to higher-level enemies environments. This is completely false, because Caesar's shield has a special effect that agent who has the shield will not take more damage than Caesar's shield. This even allows a agent with Caesar's shield to deliver full DPS while facing a BOSS punch.
These are the four blind spots in Caesar's knowledge that I believe will help proxies expand their agent development programs.
